Face Masks

Aims
To glue shapes and add detail of chosen masks while using descriptive language, and to use imagination during role play, acting out chosen animal sounds and actions when wearing masks
Differentiation:
Younger Children
to glue and stick shapes in appropriate area to complete masks while saying the facial feature. E.g. nose, ears
Older Children
To use imagination during role play with masks

Questions, Language and Adult Role:
Which mask would you like to make?
Can you see where all the shapes go?
Where are the eyes?
Can you see the ears?
Equipment:
Foam masks and shapes: rabbits, chicks lambs and Glue.
Extend with:
music and movement.
Easter Cards



Aims
To encourage fine manipulative skills by signing cards using pencils/biros
Differentiation:
Younger Children
to sign cards with own marks
Older Children
to form the word Easter in their card along with their name

Physical, P/S/E, Creative
Questions, Language and Adult Role:
What letters are in your name?
Can you copy the word Easter?
Are you going to use a pen or a pencil?
Can you write your name?
Equipment:
Pre cut cards saying ‘happy’, Scissors ,Glue sticks ,Felt markers, pens, pencils, Foam spring and Easter shapes, Self adhesive Easter stickers, Gem stickers
