Interactive Childcare have looked after my daughter, Maisie, for nearly four years. I was very keen to have her in a family setting providing care, warmth, guidance and love and this is exactly what she has received. Having three family members looking after a small group of children in a lovely home environment is unique and has provided a very special experience for Maisie. Activities are varied and hugely imaginative, every child’s needs are catered for on an individual basis, older children are encouraged to look after the younger ones and there is plenty of time for relaxing, playing and joining with family things like cooking, eating round a table and going on adventures together.

From the very first day I left her in childcare I knew she was in the safest hands possible and that has given me complete peace of mind. Margaret, Ian and Alex conduct themselves with total professionalism and take their work very seriously. For the children this translates into being welcomed into a big, fun family with lots of people to play with, make special connections with and finding their feet in the world. Leaving such a fantastic environment is going to be hard (for both Maisie and myself!) but the Berrys have prepared her for the next step on her journey and for that I am immensely appreciative

The programme of development that they have provided for all the children in their care is an example of a couple who care about all the children in their care. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Margaret, Ian and now Alex to other parents looking for childcare provision.

My son Luke has been attending Interactive Childcare since 2001, he has been very happy with the stimulating activities and outings organised for the children. I cannot fault their ability for all the ideas they come up for the children, which always includes the youngest to the oldest. A lot of praise takes place, which is a must for young children, and certainly, Margaret, Ian and Alex do this with full enthusiasm.

At seven years old, Sam is coming to the end of his time with you all.
I would like to thank you for the excellent care you have provided for
him over the last six and a half years. He has thoroughly enjoyed all
the marvellous activities, days out and friendship which you offer, as
well as the excellent opportunities for mixing with other children in a
supportive and caring environment. You have been there for him at every
stage in his development, from crawling to walking, from walking to
running, from running to climbing. You have also helped him to develop
his learning skills, to count, to read, to draw, and (best of all) to
make the most wonderful sticky, shiny and colourful creations out of
scraps (most of which are displayed on any available surfaces at home).
Each stage has been documented with a super collection of photographs
which we often look back on, saying: “Do you remember when …?” This
helps us feel involved as parents, too. I wish you all the best for the
future, and would like to thank you once again for providing such
wonderful, family-orientated care for Sam.

We can only describe the care, attention, interaction and stimulation which our three daughters receive as excellent. We are kept well informed of all projects and topics which are ongoing, activities which they participate in and of progress they are making.Their days are well structured and there is much emphasis on learning through play, although no pressure is put on any child to participate.

We are pleased with the way Sam has progressed in many areas under your care. He absolutely loves his days with you, we like the way we can discuss any aspect of his care with you,we enjoy reading his keepsake diary and are impressed with the wide range of learning activities he gets involved with.

The level of care, attention, stimulation and support you provide with your team is excellent. Also the support and attention that you give to us as parents enables us to follow Mollie’s days, during the many activities you organise through the daily/monthly diaries and of course the photos. We would like to thank you for making Mollie so welcome and for all that you do for us.

It is so enjoyable sitting down and reading all about the super activities Megan is having the pleasure of taking part in daily (I wish I was a kid again, I’ll tell you). Thanks again Margaret, Ian and Alex, your’e all super and I can’t say how happy I am that you are a part of Megan’s life.
